Just. Keep. Going.

What do you do when it feels like you have no gas left in the proverbial tank?

You make like my daughter Angelina and leave it all on the field. Or in her case, track.

I got to watch her last track meet this week. A 3200 meter race. As she ran that last 100 meter stretch, her face contorted and for a second, I thought she was going to faint before crossing the finish line. She didn't. But you could see the pain spread across her cheeks as they got redder with every last stride. After collapsing to her hands and knees to catch her breath, she got up.

Then she smiled. Then came the hugs and high fives from her teammates.

She taught me a valuable lesson...

When you think you can't keep going, go harder.

I struggle with self-doubt and imposter syndrome and thoughts that would have you questioning my sanity. But none of this makes me special. More than just a handful of people in my circle fall into this as well.

So this weekend, I salute everyone in their head. May they get out and keep pushing through the pain. Through the struggle. Through the self-doubt.

Just like my daughter, we're all capable of more than we could ever imagine.
