For months, Speke Podcasting has had a YouTube channel.
But it’s been dormant for quite some time. It’s a damn shame, too, because podcasts are the perfect way to generate tons of SHORTS. When executed right, a host can milk a thirty minute episode into twenty different shorts (thank you, AI).
Sooooo…
I finally listened to Gary Vee espousing the virtues of YouTube SHORTS for what seemed like the billionth time.
The paraphrased argument (which is indisputable, btw) is that you don’t need legions of fans to garner engagement. Seriously, you don’t.
With three subscribers—two if you exclude me—most of my shorts range between three-hundred to four-hundred views and it’s not because the same three people are watching over and over and over and over and over again.
It. Just. Works.
Plus it helps to be the second largest search engine.
YouTube SHORTS. They work. So start posting. Even if you don't have a podcast.
